Day of the Dead – Filming Day 1

Our first day of filming at the National Museum of Mexican Art was a success. We shot two interviews with curators involved in the Day of the Dead exhibit opening in September, as well as behind the screen footage of pieces being prepped and framed to be included in the exhibit. There will be several more days of shooting before the final project is completed, but we feel confident in saying that it’s going to be an outstanding video. This year’s exhibit will include information on how the Maya 2012 predictions tie into Day of the Dead, so for teachers looking to share both the history of Dia de los Muertos, as well as the modern relevance of the holiday, this is going to be a great resource.
