Day of the Dead – Filming Part 2

The 2013 Day of the Dead exhibit at NMMA kicked off with even more flare than in 2012, and we were there to capture the festivities again. The opening night included traditional food, music, dancing and visitors in full costume and face paint. This year the exhibit honored Jose Guadalupe Posada marking the 100 year anniversary of his death and celebrating his famous image “La Catrina,” “the fancy lady.” An excellent time was had by all, and we captured some amazing footage to integrate into creating additional chapters for our Day of the Dead video lesson plans.
